Chanti Williams, RN

I would like to recognize Chanti because she truly embodies what it means to be an extraordinary nurse. From the moment she steps onto the floor, Chanti is fully present, not just for her patients, but for her team as well. She constantly checks in with the CNAs, always asking if there's anything she can do to help, and you can tell she genuinely means it. Her support goes far beyond words. She takes action whenever it's needed, without hesitation or complaint.

One example that stands out is how quick she is to jump in during difficult moments, like transferring [a resident] to the shower room after a blowout. No matter how messy or stressful the situation might be, she approaches these moments with calm, kindness, and a sense of teamwork that instantly puts everyone at ease. She also takes time to make sure [another resident] gets to eat his bedtime snack and watch something on his tablet. It's that level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail that shows just how much she cares.

Working with Chanti is not only reassuring, but it's also empowering. She creates an environment where you feel supported, respected, and safe. I never have to worry when she's on shift. I know that if something goes south or the floor gets too busy, she will be right there, helping however she can. Her presence on the floor makes a huge difference, not just to the patients, but to every staff member working alongside her. She brings a steady, compassionate energy that makes the hardest days a little easier and the good days even better.

Chanti is not just a nurse who does her job; she is someone who lifts up her whole team and gives her patients the kind of care that comes straight from the heart. I can't think of anyone more deserving of this recognition. She is a true example of dedication, teamwork, and compassionate nursing.
