Visits to the hospital can be stressful - not just for patients, but for their families, too. But knowing that their loved ones are in good hands can make a world of difference. And that's the kind of comfort one family, in particular, found in RN Charina Dorina.
Their elderly family member was recovering at Saint Agnes on 3-West. Knowing the patient was frail put added stress on the family to make sure she always had someone by her side. Family members switched off coming and going to check in and, without fail, during each visit there was nurse Charina to help.
"Charina was there with all of us throughout our time, and even when no one was able to be there. Charina is a person we would all like looking after our family members."
