I came to the ER crying and scared. I told the man at the front desk that I hated hospitals. But that changed. Every single person I interacted with during my stay was kind, patient, and caring. I truly felt like all of the doctors, nurses, and even the staff who walked by and said hello, cared about me, and had my best interests at heart. My nurse for two days, Charis, was wonderful. She cared for me the way that my own family would. She was always cheerful and calm, checking on me constantly. I believe that her care is a huge part of the reason that I recovered so quickly.
