I realized how much I valued Charity's care and expertise when I found out she was my husband's nurse. He was hospitalized a week ago after an accident that I felt responsible for. I had been hospitalized on 12 south 2 years ago myself and as soon as I saw Charity and recognized her face, I knew my husband was in good hands because she had been responsible for much of my care. Charity explained any treatment and its purpose as prescribed by the physician who was very helpful and reassuring. Her demeanor is very calm and compassionate, which meant a lot not only to me, but to my husband as well. She is the definition of a competent, compassionate Nurse!

Charity stood out. She was prompt to meet my needs and followed up on any promises. She asked where my pain issues were and if I needed medication. Her care was focused on me, her patient. She also seemed to be well liked by her co-workers.
