The last few months have been filled with hospital stays. Honestly, it gets very lonely and it's hard to not feel down about it. I always try to talk to my Nurses, while I know they have a hard job, and are stretched thin and busy, it's really comforting when they take a second and really talk to you. Charity Hubbard did such an amazing job with my night care, she took the time to talk to me, and she never once made me feel like I was a problem, or a burden, anytime she was in there - she made me feel comfortable and brought a smile to my face. I can really tell she puts so much effort into this job every day. She puts her all into caring for us patients and making sure the team is all set. I'll never forget the time she took to talk to me and make sure I was comfortable. She inspired me to look into the healthcare field as a career. We need more kindness in this world, especially when we're unwell, and Charity showed me kindness of a different level. Thank you, Charity, for giving me that extra time to talk, you truly don't know the impact it made.
