Charity is a most-deserving recipient of the DAISY award! She consistently provides patient and family-centered empathetic care to all patients, both as a bedside nurse and also as a unit charge nurse, helping her teammates.



As a charge nurse, Charity is "calm in a sea of chaos", quietly helping nurses get what they need to provide our patients with excellent care. She is kind and considerate to all (not easy to do on some days!). Her planning and organization are appreciated by her peers. They know that her patient assignments will be fair and that she will be there to help them. She is, by all counts, "just awesome"!
