Charity was recognized by a co-worker for the comfort she offered a patient who was quickly nearing the end and unable to have visitors. Despite the patient being unresponsive, Charity continued to offer the care a dying person deserves: simply not to be alone in their last moments.
Her co-worker writes: "It truly warmed my heart to know that even in crisis, there are individuals with true compassion, empathy, and love running through their veins. While the patient's family prayed at home, I hope they find peace in knowing their loved one was provided with the best of care and did not pass alone."
