Charity R. Pernites, RN

Charity was the calm within our storm. My father’s body was shutting down. She was so informative and caring, listened to our concerns, and did everything possible for him. She had so much going on with other patients, but we were so comforted by her care and knowledge in every situation. At one point my father was choking and she went into action within seconds. We had to call hospice in eventually and she felt like family to us by that time. She was so professional but also so approachable at the same time. She was the silver lining during the most difficult time. We are forever grateful for her and that she chose to be an RN.
