"In September of 2012 I was admitted to 2 North, my immune system is compromised as I am currently undergoing chemotherapy. My daughter was scheduled for a C-section with our grandson here at KMC. Charla loaned me her personal iPhone so that my husband and I could facetime with our son outside the delivery room window. We will always have the special memory of our grandson's birth thanks to Charla. She not only exemplifies what it is to be a professional nurse; she also showed heartfelt compassion and we are deeply grateful."
