March 2026 Honoree
Charlene Adrianna Garcia, Master of Science in Nursing; National Credential in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing
Charlene was a compassionate and caring nurse when I was in labor. She made me feel secure and brave every second of my delivery. I was very nervous and really scared, but she tried to ease my pain in every way that she could. She even taught my husband what to do when I couldn’t bear it anymore.
She respected my decision about no pain medication, and she encouraged me in every step. I told her I wanted the epidural, and she didn’t hesitate to call the anesthesiologist. She even held my hand when he put the epidural in. I couldn’t thank you that day because I had a shift change, but I am so thankful for helping me have an amazing experience.

Thank you, Charlene Adrianna, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
