I had Charlene for one night during my hospital stay for my C-section. Not only did Charlene provide good care to me and my baby boy, but she also helped us set up a special moment for my family. My dad was at Lake Forest Hospital for some issues he had with his recent laryngectomy. Because of his issues, he could not see our baby the day he was born. Charlene helped coordinate with my dad's nurses to get him to the postpartum unit so he could see our baby through the nursery window. It was a very special moment for us. My parent's first grandchild and after a tough couple of months, everyone was looking forward to our baby! Charlene had to tend to another baby, so she asked her co-worker to show our baby through the nursery window. I can't thank her enough. To Charlene, it may have been nothing, but this meant the world to us!
