Chuck recognized the need for intervention on a patient who was not his assignment and displayed true compassion and kindness. Chuck did everything he could to counsel and calm a postpartum patient who wanted to leave against medical advice. He spent over 20 minutes on his knee consoling her. His true kindness and empathy towards her did not go unseen.
