Charles Cook, RN

Charles (Austin) Cook has been assigned to care for my children several times. He cared for my son, who was diagnosed with scarlet fever. This was a very scary time for all of us, and Austin was right there, keeping my son calm and explaining everything he could to him. My son is also autistic, so to have a nurse treat him with such care and patience is so rare. Austin even brought him a little pop it in my son’s initial because it matched the one on his name tag. A year later, my daughter had severe pneumonia, and again, Austin was our nurse. My daughter has a huge fear of doctors and hospitals but very quickly found a friend in nurse Austin. She returned a little later for an unrelated illness and even asked for Austin by name because he is so kind to her. Austin is dedicated, hardworking, and has one of if not the best bedside manner I have ever encountered in a young nurse.
