Charles Swallow works in the ICU. He was nominated by a patient's daughter and a coworker for coming on his day off to be with a patient on life support. The patient's daughter states: "He understood how sick my dad was and was willing to come in and care for him. He came in the room, not to work, but just to sit and stay with my father until his passing. He cared for him tenderly until he took his last breath. He is an outstanding nurse...We could not have asked for more."
