When my father was brought by ambulance to the ER, we didn't think he was going to make it. He was stabilized and brought to the PCU since no beds were available in ICU. Charley was one of our nurses that immediately greeted us and was so kind and patient. I feel we were quite needy and had excessive questions-she never made us feel like we were a bother and was so kind and patient. She took extra time taking care of my dad, but also me and my daughter, ensuring we were comfortable and felt at ease. She has a gift of patience and compassion. Her non-medical conversations prove she is vested in us, both physically and mentally. Professional and compassionate are exactly what we needed. The world needs more like Charley!

My mom was a patient on PCU for 7 days after lung surgery. Charley was one of her nurses and was exceptional! She even helped my mom braid her hair! She listened and was patient with my mom when she was adamant about moving herself. Thank you Charley for taking great care of my mom!
