Charlie was the nurse for my mother-in-law. He was kind and compassionate towards the family during the time of mom's passing. He did his job well although we were always in his way. He listened to our wishes keeping mom comfortable. He answered all the questions we had concerning what he was doing to/for mom and what we were to expect during the dying process. He cared for our well-being by sharing coffee and doughnuts with us, listening to our stories about mom and laughing about the memories we had about her, and leaving us alone to grieve her passing.
Charlie is no ordinary nurse. He does his job as a nurse but goes above and beyond to take care of the family and friends that are related to his patient. I truly feel Charlie should receive the DAISY award for his dedication to his profession.
