Charlie Mitchell, RN, BSN
Charlie took my dinner tray away. He showed me the medication in the packages when I was scared someone would accidentally give me the wrong medication. He came up with a plan each time he was my nurse that made me feel safe.
He is striving to be the best nurse possible and wonders how he can do better.
He tested me for COVID twice, and thankfully both tests were negative. He has a lot of courage.
He built me up and told me good things about myself. He helped my self-esteem and made me feel less anxious. He often calmed me down, reassured me, and got rid of my anxiety.
He checked on me often and always seemed available to talk. He was always smiling and had a positive attitude.
When I was afraid to go to group, he asked me why, and I told him. He was able to encourage me to go to group, and I found I enjoyed it.
I would call him the closest to a perfect nurse.
