June 2026 Honoree
Charlotte Lynch, BSN, RN
I would like to thank my nurse and share my story of why this nurse is so special. For years, I felt invisible in the healthcare system. Then I met Charlotte Lynch. Charlotte didn't just treat me as another patient—she treated me as a human being. She listened. She saw beyond the chart and took the time to understand what I was going through. For the first time in a long time, I felt genuinely heard, respected, and cared for.
In a profession that is often burdened by stress, overwhelming workloads, and emotional exhaustion, Charlotte's compassion stood out. Her professionalism, kindness, and dedication reminded me of what healthcare is supposed to be. She showed empathy when I needed it most and provided a level of care that left a lasting impact on me. What Charlotte may see as simply doing her job meant so much more to me. She restored a small piece of my faith and reminded me that there are still people in healthcare who truly care. I will never forget the dignity, respect, and compassion Charlotte showed me during one of the most difficult times of my life.

Thank you, Charlotte, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
