Charlotte was my nurse during my labor & delivery. I had my baby at the change of shift, and she stayed until I delivered because we had such a good rapport. The support and encouragement she provided me gave me the motivation to push through the pain and deliver my first baby. I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through it without her. She provided me with empathetic care, kindness, support, encouragement, education, information, resources, and most importantly, the best possible experience I could have had during that difficult but amazing time in my life. I will never forget Charlotte, and I will tell my daughter about the incredible nurse who helped her mom bring her into the world.

Charlotte made me feel comfortable and was non-judgmental, which is so important during such a vulnerable experience. I had a high-risk pregnancy, and she eased my mind throughout this experience and kept telling me I was strong enough to do it. She truly went above and beyond and exceeded all expectations. I’m so grateful she happened to be the nurse on shift on that day.

In addition, the hospital and Charlotte sent me a beautiful card in the mail congratulating me on the birth of my daughter, and Charlotte wrote a touching note that I will always keep. It means so much to me.

I had an unplanned C-section, and it was very challenging for me emotionally. Charlotte was extremely comforting and supportive of my decisions. She listened to me and did not judge. When my husband left the delivery room with the baby, I was so scared and asked her to sit with me. Charlotte sat with me while they finished and calmed me down by asking about me and talking about our cats. I truly think about her and that situation every day since.
