Charnelle Shields

Charnel Shields was nominated several times by both faculty, classmates, and patients.  Each of her nominations highlighted her passion for nursing, compassion, and kindness. One patient stated, “Not only did she take great care of me, but she also checked on an ill family member.” Her passion for nursing deeply aligns with her sense of purpose. She is noted not only for advocating for her patients but also for her classmates, ensuring they understand the material. She is very inclusive in her attitude, ensuring that everyone feels supported and valued.  Transparency in her actions and communication also demonstrates her ethical commitment to her patient care and educational endeavors.
