Chase is the type of nurse who shows up every day to provide excellent care to his patients. Examples I would like to share are how Chase exemplifies mutual respect and integrity to his team each day he comes to work. He is extremely flexible with his assignments, takes new patients while another nurse is overwhelmed, assists other units with difficult IV start – never says no. And for myself, when a patient is of higher acuity, it seems like Chase is always there helping. He just seems to know when a colleague needs assistance. He exemplifies SJH's mission and values. He always performs at the highest level, learning and looking for ways to improve – he constantly asks questions. He has the highest integrity. He is honest and does the right thing for all patients, not only his assignment but for the greater good and all whom we serve.
