My father was admitted to the Neuroscience unit for comfort care after a debilitating stroke, his second. The night nurse, Chastity went above and beyond the call of duty during her overnight shift. When I had to leave briefly to attend to personal matters she offered to call me every hour to let me know Dad's condition. She exhibited great compassion with me and showed the same to my father. She checked on him many times throughout the night, made sure he was clean and comfortable and lovingly dressed his leg wounds. At the end of her shift, she made a point of coming to see us for a hug and to say goodbye. Chastity is an angel!
