When I was put in the hospital, I was upset and scared, not to mention the most unbearable pain that I have experienced, but I really didn’t want to be here. 

But after my wife and I met Chasydi as my nurse, so much of the fear and agitation of being in the hospital went away. She is absolutely amazing at her job. She truly cares for her patients. She was so kind and understanding. 

When she would come in to check on me or give me my medication, she was always smiling, and it made my day to have someone caring for me who truly loved her job. She is an amazing nurse and an amazing lady.

Our pastor came to visit, and I asked her if she would care to pray with us. She bowed her head and allowed our pastor to pray. That is not something we see near enough, but she did, and she was truly a beautiful ray of sunshine during a really dark time for myself and my wife. 

If anyone deserves this award, it is Chasydi Pressly, RN.

My stay was very unexpected, coming in not knowing what was going on or what the next steps were going to be. On my first night in the hospital, I was just getting adjusted and settled. The next morning, I was woken up for morning rounds….all I heard was, “Good morning, Sunshine.” I woke up a little more and saw a familiar face from a previous stay a couple of months before. Through my visit and my time at HRMC, Chasydi went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and, all in all, okay. The care I received I have shared with many people around the community. She is one that has definitely stood out to me!

I am 94 years old and hard of hearing. She took excellent care of me. She was very willing to help me and answer my questions. I felt very well treated by her. I appreciate all her help.
