Chaun saw me struggling this day, I am 100% PTSD and It makes it very difficult to get healthcare, especially when there is a male provider. Chaun took me aside and spoke to me privately assuring me she would be in the room with me the whole time and encouraged me that together we could get me through the acupuncture appointment. If it was not for her I would have left. Not only has she made sure she was there for every single appointment, but she also did something else... I had a terrible encounter at one of my other appointments and was crying. Chaun saw me crying in the hall; took me aside, and calmed me down which can be hard due to my PTSD. She then assisted me to the patient advocate to voice my concerns... by her being by my side I stood up for myself for the very first time. Chaun's compassion and ability to understand what I was going through is a priceless gift and it has made all the difference in the world for me.
