Chelsea Covert, RN
Chelsea was one of my sister’s nurses at AVH. My family was in shock with my sister’s sudden diagnosis of terminal cancer. We were grieving, angry, and just a total mess. Not only did Chelsea go above and beyond her duties as a nurse but she also provided comfort to our entire family. God sent us an angel in our time of need.

My mom is in the hospital and is at the end of her life. Chelsea was there taking the best care of her that she could. She kept us up to date on her condition, checked in with doctors, social services, other nurses, etc., and relayed the info. You could tell that this isn’t just a job for her. She cares for the patients and their families. She’s made the most difficult time in our lives a bit easier.
