July 2020 Honoree
chelsea cramer, BSN, RN
Chelsea and Alyssa were nurses for two days of my son's hospital stay.
Chelsea worked the day shift and Alyssa the evening shift. These two gals were phenomenal! This may be called The DAISY Award but I'd like to be more clear and add "Worked Butts Off Award". They were there to work for the patient, and it was apparent with the kindness, attention to detail, and proactive support and approach.
As a parent, I could see my son felt comfortable, and, appreciated all they did for him. He did not have pumps beeping for long periods of time, towels and supplies were provided before they were asked for and communication with hospital staff to move treatment in a more appropriate manner was inspiring.
Some nurses came to work while I was there. Chelsea and Alyssa came to work and truly worked! I applaud and appreciate them going above and beyond on their shifts! My family was so very lucky to have them assigned to us. Thank you, ladies!
