It has been months since my mom was in the ICU, but there is a nurse whom I cannot stop thinking about: Chelsea. The night my mom got admitted into the ICU Chelsea took care of her. Chelsea took her time to explain what she was doing and answered all our questions. Before I left to get some rest, Chelsea reassured me that she would call if anything were to happen during the night. I later ended up getting a call and found out that Chelsea caught a critical change in my mom’s condition that required mom to get emergent surgery. There are no amount of words to express how thankful I am that Chelsea was taking care of my mom that night. Whenever we had the pleasure of Chelsea being mom’s nurse, it never mattered how busy Chelsea was, she always made sure to ask how we were doing, answered our questions and always asked if we needed anything from her. Chelsea always gave Mom the utmost care and you could feel how much of her heart she put into everything she did. Nursing is a calling and Chelsea is exactly where she is meant to be. I will never forget Chelsea and what she has done for my family.
