Today, Chelsea went so far above and beyond, I cannot even begin to explain my gratitude for her. She fully listened to my huge concern patiently and went out of her way to help. She recognized the doctor's misjudgment and how uncomfortable I was and corrected the issue. She ensured my daughter received the proper care and took action to make that happen. She took the time to try and feed my daughter when she wouldn't eat. She helped to bath her. She ensured she got the second opinion and actual care that she needed and deserved. CHP is beyond lucky to have Chelsea!

During nurse leader rounds, we can understand the difference that nurses play in their patients' and families' lives each day. When I met with this mother, she raved about how Chelsea had advocated for her and her daughter. The mother described her as a blessing and someone who truly excelled at her job as an exemplary caregiver and advocate.
Chelsea was able to coordinate care between the physicians and the mother to ensure the patient was safe and ready for discharge. For that, the mother was so grateful. When a person decides to become a nurse, they dedicate their lives to caring and advocating for others. Chelsea demonstrated just that, and we are lucky to have her.
