Chelsea has created an environment of trust and respect and empowered this team to make a safe and positive impact on both the patient and staff experience.
As Clinical Manager of Nursing Support, Chelsea has worked to grow our local flex (float) pool to a team of 16, inclusive of nursing, PCAs/PSNs/PCTs, and CVMPS. Our patient transportation team is fully staffed with 17 team members as well. These teams greatly enhance our staffing & throughput goals allowing us to safely reduce agency contracts and expedite patient movement to testing and procedures. Chelsea also leads the campus-wide throughput task force/committee where we have realized significant gains on our top 5 goals in the past 6 months.
With our transport team, Chelsea has created an environment of trust and respect and empowered this team to make a safe and positive impact on both the patient and staff experience. With her ability to support and motivate this team, they moved from a Tier III to a Tier 1 on the mid-year pulse employee engagement survey.
Chelsea also continues to support our Professional Governance Council the Night Council. This council is one of the largest interdisciplinary attended councils on campus. Her passion for night shift support is unmatched and appreciated. Chelsea also embodies and role models our commitment to the community as she was a recent young professional board member of CASA - Child Advocates of Montgomery County. In closing, she co-leads our Leadership Development Academy on campus as she seeks to mentor professionals who have a passion/desire for potential leadership opportunities.
Chelsea embodies and exhibits extraordinary energy and passion as she "Chooses JOY" and shares it with others.
