All the staff and Nurses have been wonderful, but one RN went out of her way to help my son. She took care of him 1 week straight, she even took overtime shifts, she tried many different meds to see what would work, and she stayed on top of doing it; she did not let him go over 1 minute.

She tried many different ways to make a needle and IV stay in position, she talked about how her mom is a nurse, and she learns from her techniques and from other RN's techniques. I did not know this nurse was a new nurse; she handles herself like a tenured professional.

She always expresses care, concern, and sympathy for my son. My son said he thanks her for saving his life; he was going to die. This nurse kept my son positive, not only with her actions, but with her genuine concern to help.
