My daughter had sinus surgery and things didn’t go as planned; she ended up unexpectedly in the ICU at St. Mary's intubated. She remained there for 6 days until she was transferred to Saratoga ICU for dialysis due to a new onset of kidney failure. During the 6 days in ICU, the staff was amazing tending to her needs and updating the doctor with changes in condition. While all the nurses were amazing a few stood out.

First and foremost was Chelsey Redmond who spent hours bathing and cleaning my daughter and making sure she was positioned and comfortable. When she spiked a temperature of 106.5 Chelsey made sure she got the care she needed. She got orders from the doctor for a cooling blanket and Tylenol and monitored her frequently. She was outstanding in her care. I can not say enough about the staff; St. Mary’s should be proud to have them. Since none of this was expected it was a difficult time but the entire staff made it a little bit easier to handle.

Thank you, Chelsey, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
