Chelsi was the first nurse we had when we arrived emergent flown to TCH from Phoenix. My 10-year-old daughter was very sick and it was very touch and go for a very long time. We have been here at TCH now for almost 7 months and Chelsi has been there through it all. She was so sweet when we arrived we of course were so scared and she was such a source of comfort so kind and very knowledgeable. She always took out the extra time to meet my daughter on her level. She was so uplifting and cheerful and would chat with B and make her feel more normal. Chelsi moved to another unit while we were still in PICU but she came in and gave my daughter her phone number and told her anytime she wanted to chat just call her. She has a heart of gold and I am so grateful for the kindness and love that she showed to all of our family. She is an incredible nurse and we will never forget her. She holds a special place in our hearts.
