Chelsie Mancino, MSN, RN, CEN, ANM has been an exceptional leader within the Adult Emergency Department since 2015. She consistently ensures that patients receive compassionate, high-quality care and have positive experiences throughout their time in the department. Chelsie fosters an environment where staff feel supported, respected, and valued, contributing greatly to team morale and collaboration.

Chelsie is never hesitant to become involved in difficult situations involving patients or visitors. Through her calm demeanor, professionalism, and strong communication skills, she is often able to successfully de-escalate challenging encounters and recover situations before they escalate further. Her leadership presence brings reassurance to both staff and patients alike.

She has earned the respect of our providers through her exceptional critical thinking, clinical expertise, and sound judgment. In addition, our inpatient units recognize Chelsie as a fair and collaborative leader who consistently advocates for what is best for the patient. Supervisors have confidence and peace of mind when Chelsie is leading the department, knowing operations will run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Chelsie also co-chairs our Emergency Department Sepsis Committee. Through her dedication to quality improvement and evidence-based patient care, our department’s sepsis metrics have shown measurable positive trends. Her commitment to excellence, patient advocacy, and teamwork makes her highly deserving of this recognition.
