Cherie Meredith, RN, BSN, CCRN

If you could have a secret camera on Cherie during her shift, you would be amazed at her extremely gracious and holistic approach to nursing. One of the days she had my husband as a patient, she was tasked with getting him and all the equipment ready for kidney dialysis. I watched her go about her great and grueling task with energy, knowledge, and even JOY. She worked her tail to the bone and while doing so kept her amazing kindness, smile, and good-heartedness. During her day of taking great care of my husband, we had several family members in and out she was always welcoming, smiling, and going about her business of taking care of him with kindness and loving actions. On one of her days off, she came in to visit him and give an emotional boost. Coming from a Fortune 500 company, I am not easily impressed with folks doing their job well, but I am most definitely impressed with Cherie, and I hope you will reward her for doing a GREAT job for IU Health Bloomington.
