Cherlyn Bayer, RN

Cheri is a very selfless, compassionate, giving RN. I've had the honor over the past year and half to be her director. I've watched her come to work with a broken foot to ensure her patients are taken care of. She continually sacrifices her own needs to ensure that her patients are well taken care of. During the first wave of COVID, Cheri was deployed to MICU. She willingly accepted her deployment assignment. Upon completion of her assignment, Cheri came back to our outpatient division. At that point in time, Cheri was the only RN in our entire division. She had to spend months going back and forth between two campuses to ensure all our patients that missed their infusions and injections between March and June were caught up. Cheri was relentless at ensuring our patients had their treatments timely. Cheri would work nights and weekends to answer our patients’ inbox messages. She loves to teach and help our patients.
