Cherry is an exceptional nurse! She was warm and welcoming from the minute I arrived although I am a retired RN. I was a little nervous about the Cardiac Cath procedure. Cherry was so reassuring, confident, and clearly knew what she was doing. She had a terrific sense of humor, but she also knew when to be serious and professional.

They were having a little birthday party at the nurses' station right across from us and although I was NPO, Cherry brought a little slice of birthday cake for my husband (which he loved). My husband is a former (retired) professional ballroom dancer and upon learning one of the other nurses was taking ballroom lessons, Cherry had my husband dance a bit with her in the hallway. All of this highlighted the atmosphere tremendously easing my anxiety.

Cherry took excellent care of me post-procedure and even personally wheeled me to the hospital exit. She is a gem. You don’t always get such compassionate care these days but Cherry certainly exemplified what nursing is all about for her. You are so fortunate to have her on your staff.
