Cheryl Campbell 2025, RN, MSN

Cheryl goes above and beyond for patients and coworkers; she is always on time, responsible, knowledgeable, and a leader in the unit. She exemplifies what it is to be a nurse in every way possible; she is not only caring, but is always willing to help the team, educate the staff, and the patients. This nurse never says no when asked for help, even when she is overwhelmed with her own work; she is respectful, compassionate, and works with excellence.

Just to give an example of the quality of her work, she has identified knowledge deficits in our unit and she took it upon herself to do in services about the topics we are struggling with, and if she sees a nurse with a difficult/non-compliant patient or aggressive patient, she walks in the room with her beautiful smile and tries to calm the pt down and deescalate, and it always works! To her, it doesn't matter whose patient it is; she is here to work and help everyone, staff or patients alike. She loves nursing, and it is evident in everything she does. She is an amazing role model in the unit; she is all about teamwork and getting things done.
