Cheryl Collicott, RN, is hands down one of the best nurses I have worked with in my 9 years with the Air Force. Her knowledge and expertise far surpasses her peers. She gladly takes on additional duties for the unit; she is a preceptor for new NICU nurses and does an amazing job teaching and grooming. She also serves as an ECMO specialist utilizing her skills to care for the most critical infants in our unit. She consistently is early for work, ready for any patient assignment with a positive attitude. She does not complain. Her superior knowledge and sweet spirit serve as the perfect combination for NICU nursing. I am grateful for the example she has set for me. She truly has impacted so many precious infants and families and for that I strongly believe, Cheryl should be recognized!
