She demonstrated knowledge, sincerity, and a sense of humor, always willing to answer our concerns and questions.
I was a patient in Radiation Oncology.  During that time I underwent a variety of preparations including a PET scan, insurance authorization/education, CT simulation/planning, and positional skin marks (tattoos). Receiving seven weeks (M-F) of therapy for a total of 35 treatments.

My wife and I got to know Cheryl throughout this visit. We were impressed with her from the initial consultation with our Radiation Oncologist.  She was present with paper and pen while the doctor consulted with us on what we could expect.  It resulted in 2 very neatly handwritten pages of explanation and expectations…including the names of all the members of the radiation team.  We referenced it more than once throughout the treatment period.

She was friendly and always there for my wife and I throughout the treatment period.  She demonstrated knowledge, sincerity, and a sense of humor, always willing to answer our concerns and questions.  Cancer diagnosis is a very frightening experience but it is the care and upbeat attitude of a nurse like Cheryl that puts your mind to rest.
