I have had frequent admissions to this unit and "frequent" is an understatement. Anytime Cheryl has been my nurse, she always makes me feel comfortable. I hate being in the hospital, but when I have Cheryl I feel at ease because she knows my history well. She makes sure I have all of my meds and goes above and beyond to make sure my pain is under control. She is the kind of nurse who makes you feel like she may not truly understand what I am going through but she is very empathetic to what I'm going through. Even the admission when I have not had her, she always goes out of her way to stop and say hello, and when you have been here as long as I have, it is nice to feel that a nurse cares like Cheryl even though she might not have me that admission. She exemplifies everything a nurse should be.
