Cheryl, I am so glad you decided to stay and help with my patient’s c-section, your expertise was greatly appreciated. When the mom had a seizure you seemed to know exactly what to do, you remained calm the entire time. I learned so much watching what you were doing. The way you interacted with the family after it happened, holding their hands, being so calm, walking them to the SICU, was amazing! (in words it doesn't sound that impressive, but to watch you was truly awe inspiring) I tried to use that in my interactions with them the rest of the night. Somehow your presence kept everyone together.

Cheryl rises always to the need. I noticed her around 2330 taking the husband to SICU, she must have been ready to drop as we all were, but she was great with the husband. I hope this never happens again but if it did I would want you ladies there. I know the family appreciates the extra special care they received too. I know this is never how we want to learn something but I learned so much from all of you.
