During a difficult time, Cheryl stayed to comfort the mother of a patient who had just lost her child. Later in the day, she noticed the mom in the lobby looking lost. She stayed hours after her shift to offer comfort, support, and compassionate care for this mom who found herself alone after her tragic loss. Even with the language barrier, Cheryl made herself available by just being present for the mom.
