We are so thankful to Cheryl for being there for us all through this trying, but rewarding experience of having our son 8 weeks early. The professionalism and compassion that she showed all of our family was a huge blessing to us all. The care she shared with us in teaching us how to deal with a preemie was and is so much appreciated. She truly is an amazing nurse, and now we know this through our own personal experience with her.

Cheryl anonymously provided numerous school supplies to a family in need. The infant has 3 older siblings and earlier in the week the mother was crying about not being able to get her children school supplies. It came to my attention, while caring for the infant, that Cheryl had purchased a bag full of various school supplies and left a card addressed to "Emma's brothers and sisters" in the patient room. This is such a kind and caring act from Cheryl!
