Cheryl was nominated by the mother of a young patient. As a medical missionary to East Africa this mother required the assistance of the pediatric department to prepare to take an infant on this international adventure. She cited that Cheryl has worked one on one with her to overcome all obstacles that taking an infant, then a toddler and now a preschooler back and forth to Africa. She wrote that Cheryl was a great advocate for them and helped trouble shoot everything from formula to immunizations. "Our transition from Montana to Tanzania and back would definitely not be as smooth without her being such an advocate for us."
