I was a patient at a UF Health Jacksonville diagnostic center. I was very upset with my diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer, to the point that I could not complete my mammogram. Cheryl was also there at that time. She saw how visibly upset I was and came over to see if she could help me in anyway, even offering to go back with me to complete my exam. I couldn't do it at the time because my arm was swollen and painful. I told Cheryl that I was waiting on my ride. Cheryl offered to carry my purse outside for me because my arm was hurting. She told me that she was a nurse at UF Health and that I needed to go to the emergency room and have my arm looked at because she was worried that I might have a blood clot. I went to one of the other hospitals in town and had to wait a long time to be seen. I remembered where Cheryl told me she worked so I asked my sister to bring me here to her hospital where I was diagnosed with a blood clot in my arm. The next day, to my surprise, Cheryl was my nurse and I recognized her immediately. I knew God was looking out for me when I saw her. Her kindness inside and outside of the hospital was certainly a gift from above. I have a special bond with Cheryl, she is my guardian angel.

Cheryl was excellent at providing me with the things I needed. She was very thorough in explaining all that she was going to do and needed to do. She took my suggestions into consideration and followed through with our discussions. She provided me with the best customer service I have ever had at a hospital.
