Cheryl deserves special recognition because she provided care over and above normal nursing duties. Early in the morning, my PCP doctor. told me I could be discharged that day. Several roadblocks developed which delayed my discharge. Cheryl, in addition to her normal nursing duties, took it upon herself to track down an almost impossible to reach doctor. This doctor had no office or regular phone number, to get a clarification of doctors' orders. In addition, she worked with the case manager to secure proper paperwork and worked with the pharmacy to timely acquire necessary medicine so there were no further unnecessary delays. I was finally able to be released instead of having to stay another day.

Cheryl's nursing knowledge is the best I've ever seen. Her best attribute is her sincere compassion for her patient and family.
