Cheryn Marino, BSN, RN has a medical background as a New York Paramedic and has been priceless to Hampton.
A patient on the Dual Diagnosis Unit was complaining he had cramping in his legs and didn't feel well. Cheryn assessed this patient and felt he needed to go to the Emergency Room immediately. The patient was admitted to the ICU. Cheryn saved this patient's life.
Cheryn is an asset to Hampton. Medical Staff feel comfort when a Code Blue is called and Cheryn is working. Cheryn runs all the codes in medical emergencies.

Cheryn is a medically strong and skilled nurse. She is confident and efficient in all code situations, but I am especially glad when she is at a medical code. Aside from being an excellent clinician, she has a great sense of what patients need. Sometimes it is calmness, humor, or even a stern reprimand. It is always clear that whatever is needed, Cheryn does it out of concern and with respect.
