These words all describe what I saw in Cheyenne as she admitted and cared for me. I have been a nurse for 30+ years, and she displayed some of the best, most important nursing skills I’ve ever encountered. She made me feel safe, cared about me, and gave me respect and dignity.
It's hard for a nurse to be a patient. But when I go back to work after my illness, I will be a better nurse because of her.
