August 2026 Honoree
Cheyenne Mullins, RN
Cheyenne Mullins came in early before her shift began to support me in labor. She was such an important proponent in getting me through an unmedicated labor. She provided physical and emotional support during the process. She rubbed my back with lavender oil and let me lean on her during and between contractions. Much of my labor was on the floor, so she did everything she could to make that more comfortable for me. Cheyenne encouraged me when I felt like I couldn't do it anymore. She helped me remain as calm as I could possibly be in a moment when my body was anything but calm. She helped during pushing and even took pictures of the most beautiful delivery with my permission. She helped me feel safe during the whole process. I truly could not have had the delivery of my dreams without her support. Cheyenne also placed my hand where I could feel the baby's head while pushing, which was such a motivating factor at the end. She also took care of the baby and me for the first night and was very attentive while encouraging me to get as much rest as possible.
Thank you, Cheyenne, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
