Being in the hospital is stressful enough, but being in the hospital alone and hundreds of miles from home compounds that stress. Chi Allen knew her far-from-home patient needed some encouragement and company, so she took extra time out of her busy schedule to sit with her patient and keep her company. Sometimes that’s all it takes to truly impact a patient’s experience, and Chi’s patient clearly remembers her kindness.
